The AI world is all abuzz about Sora 2.0 and chatGPT Atlas. What are they?

Sora helps you create videos. Some of them are just insane how real they look. You do need an iphone though :-(. At least for now.

chatGPT Atlas is the new browser from chatGPT which is competing agains Perplexity’s comet, the current Safari and Google Chrome. The marketplace is heating up.

The AI browsers are quite different though as you can ask them to be your assistant. This includes travel planning.

Atla is currently only available on Mac OS though.

Discover Halifax is now using Guide Geek

It looks like Matador has cornered the market on these AI Guides for DMOs. The latest to publish their AI Guide is Discover Halifax. They didn’t even give it a cool name, they call it “Halifax AI” :-). Here’s what the news release had to say:

"Our new AI tool utilizes everything that's great about discoverhalifaxns.com to provide an alternative option for visitors seeking information about the region," says Clare Tidby, Discover Halifax's Vice President of Marketing and Visitor Experience. "The AI is trained on our website content, guides, maps, and member listings to ensure well-rounded, thoughtful responses to visitor inquiries."

To access Halifax AI, travelers can visit discoverhalifaxns.com and click the chat icon in the bottom-right corner.”

Lock your look: use a “Style Sheet Prompt” to prevent digital drift.

Instead of re-explaining your brand each time, keep a single prompt you paste into any AI tool (image/video/script). It sets non-negotiables (logo, colors, tone, spelling) and allowed changes (layout, background, B-roll).

How to use it:

1. Paste this block first.

2. Add your exact task (e.g., “update last week’s header—same layout, new title”).

3. Ask the model to show the checklist results before exporting.

Pro move: Save it as a snippet in your notes or a text expander so every new asset starts from the same guardrails.

🎲 Fun Fact

“B-roll” gets its name from old-school film editing: editors cut between the A-roll (main action) and B-roll (cutaways like scenery or detail shots).
Today, you can generate missing B-roll with AI (Runway, Luma, Canva’s AI clips) to cover jump cuts or add cinematic transitions when you didn’t capture enough on location.
